Wedding Adventures

I love attending weddings they’re always so much fun. And this past year I’ve attended quite a few weddings. You see my boyfriend Drew Anthuny has a song called Marry Me if you haven’t heard the song you can catch a snippet of it here.

Marry Me

The song Marry Me is a beautiful story about a man proposing to his beloved.

Ever since the song was released, people have been inviting Drew to sing at their weddings, and I’ve been tagging along as his plus one. One particular guy used the song to actually propose to his girlfriend, and she said yes! They have a beautiful story, and you can read more about it on this blog here.

Now, back to our latest wedding adventure. Drew’s cousin married the man of her dreams at Willow Creek Ranch.

Willow Creek Ranch is located about 120 miles south of where we live.  It’s heading towards San Diego, CA so we thought it would take us about 2 hours to get there but it actually took us about 4 hours. Thanks to the wonderful Los Angeles traffic. If you are not from LA and are planning a visit just know that you will be in LA traffic no matter what day of the week or what time. It’s actually pretty rare when there is no traffic.

Since we were running late people at the wedding started wondering where we were. Lucky for us, everyone was running late including the Marriage Officiant. If there is one person you need to have a wedding aside from the bride and groom it’s definitely the person who officially makes you husband and wife.  We arrived almost at the same time as the marriage officiant. So it gave us just enough time to run out of our cars and for Drew to throw on his guitar and sing Marry Me as the prelude to the Bride walking down the aisle. Thus you can say our arrival was perfect timing (so to speak…)

I can’t imagine how stressful it must be for a wedding to be running a couple of hours late. I guess that at the end of the day we just have to remember why we are all there in the first place. We were there to celebrate the union of two people who truly love each other. And that’s exactly what we all did. We celebrated their LOVE!

Here are some of the pictures we took.

This gorgeous private event venue is the perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding.

I’m also including the music video to Marry Me because it’s a just beautiful and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do. The video features my talented friend and beautiful friend Sabrina
