Rock Climbing Adventure for our 2-Year Anniversary

Hello Tea Birds,

This week Drew and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s only been two years. It really feels like we’ve been dating for a lot longer even though I remember our first date as if it was yesterday. I know our relationship can seem “perfect” online but just like any other couple we have our disagreements and our not so happy moments but we always work it out and always love each other even more after.

So for our two year anniversary, we went out for breakfast and then spent the afternoon at Top Out Climbing. This was my first time going to an indoor rock climbing facility so I have nothing to compare this to. However, as a first timer, I can tell you this place was pretty awesome.

The staff here was really nice, the gentleman in the front explained how everything works, also gave us a tour of the facility and described all the different kinds of climbs we could do.

We went on a Tuesday morning so it was pretty empty which was great. I read on their website that their busiest times are weekday nights along with weekends afternoons. So if you guys want to go indoor rock climbing and are beginners like me I would suggest going during their off hours.

We were at Top Out Climbing for about 2 hours but let me tell you after about 45mins I was so tired I couldn’t climb anymore lol. Rock climbing really is a full body workout. So much so that two days later and my entire body is still soar.

When you are climbing without a harness you are bound to fall, like I did several times. I actaully scraped my knee during one of those falls. It still hurst a little but Drew and I had so much fun I would do it again.

The best moment was when I looked to my side and saw Drew looking at me smiling and says

I just fell in love with you all over again.”

We Love going on Adventures and Exploring new things together. As a couple one of our Relationship Goals is to continue to grow through adventures. What do you guys to do on dates or adventures?
