Daffy Duck & Bugs Bunny welcome us into Holiday in the Park.

Happy Holidays! I can’t believe we are only 9 days away from Christmas morning. I’m so excited, and I hope you are too, whether you still have some last-minute shopping to do or you’re all done. One of the best things about the holiday season, leading up to Christmas are the lights, music, decorations, and just general cheerfulness from everyone around. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping early this year, so this past Sunday I was able to enjoy a nice day at Six Flas Magic Mountain for their Holiday in the Park celebration.

Unlike Disneyland, known for its Holiday theme parties, Six Flags introduced Holiday in the Park only two years ago. This was my first time going to Six Flags Magic Mountain, so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it would be busy because it was a Sunday and it was the holidays, but actually, it wasn’t busy at all. For most of the rides we got on, we only waited in line for 5 minutes.

Although theme parks are not really a winter activity, I think it’s the best time of year to visit. If you live in a warm state of course. We went to Disneyland last year in October, and it was the best. We didn’t have to wait to get into any of the rides. Most of the kiddos were too busy trick-or-treating around the park. One of the other great benefits of going during the colder months is that people are not sweaty and smelly. haha

Also if you go during the Holiday season, everything is prettier! Approaching the gate at Six Flags, you can already see the Christmas decorations and hear the holiday-themed music. But once the sun went down, that’s when the real Holiday in the Park started. All the lights went on at 5 pm, transforming into a beautiful winter wonderland. They even had snow falling from the trees. I captured it all on my IG story, so follow me there if you want to see more of our adventures in the future.

Here are some of our favorite pictures from our Holiday in the Park Six Flags Adventure. We didn’t want to take our expensive camera into the park because we didn’t want to leave it unattended while we got on our rides so these are from our phones. 🙂
