My Road to Sequoia National Park
First time at Sequoia National Park
Drew and I both grew up in big cities; however we love nature. That’s why we decided to go on an adventure to Sequoia National Park. Nature provides us with much-needed time away from the city and allows us to reconnect with Mother Earth and all its beauty.
We planned our trip to Sequoia National Park a week in advance. We knew it was going to be a long drive so we packed lunches, sunscreen & picked out functional clothing. So the morning of the trip, we woke up early and hit the road.
The beginning of our road trip was filled with excitement, we listened to music as we played road games & 3 hours later we were completely exhausted. I started wondering “Are we there yet?” We thought it would take us approximately 3 hours to get to Sequoia National Park however it actually took us about 5 hours.
We were drained & exhausted from all the driving. But once we got to Sequoia the excitement of adventure was ignited once again. We couldn’t wait to get out of the car and start exploring this beautiful corner of the world.
The moment we entered Sequoia, we realized that our cell phones were out of service. We were completely “off the grid” which was perfect because we wanted to truly enjoy nature without the distractions of technology.
Here are some of the pictures we took while at Sequoia National Park.
We spent the day hiking, taking in the fresh air along with majestic views of nature.
I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I included in this post.
P.S
Drew and I decided next time we venture out to Sequoia National Park it will be a camping trip. That way we won’t have to deal with 10 hours of driving in one day and we can truly enjoy nature in all its beauty 😉

Yay for your first post! The love you two have remind me so much of me and my honey of 30 years. Keep on doing what you guys are doing and the roads will always level out . In between the smooth roads, have fun on the curves and learn from each pothole!
