How to Dress for a ZOO Date

Hello roadies!

I wanted to share this post about “how to dress for a zoo date” because one, I recently had a date at the San Diego Zoo with my love. And two, when we visited I saw a girl walking around wearing tight skinny jeans, heels, and a cute top. She looked great! There was nothing wrong with her outfit except maybe not super comfortable zoo date.  

If you haven’t been to the San Diego Zoo it’s enormous, there is a lot of walking around and it’s hot. I can’t imagine walking around the entire park wearing heels. Can we say blisters?

Now, I think we can give her the benefit of the doubt and say maybe she didn’t know her date was bringing her to the zoo. I mean that is a possibility. I don’t know her story, and if that’s the case and she decided to be a trooper in spite of the heels than more power to her.

What I do know is that she inspired me to write this post about what I think is a cute, casual, comfortable and stylish outfit for a zoo date. In case any of you ever wondered what to wear for a day at the zoo or the park or any outdoor activity. Here’s what I wore for my date at the Zoo, I hope you like it. Outfit Details: Nike, Leggings, Backpack, White Top

Sunglasses: RayBan original wayfarer

The outfit although very simple made me feel sexy and comfortable, the leggings are high waisted and hug my curves in all the right places and the semi-flowy top allowed my stomach to breath comfortably. 😉 The Nike shoes I’m wearing are comfortable and aside from rounding out my outfit nicely they also match my personality. The unassuming white mesh against the crazy colors at the bottom is the perfect combination of my sweet and spicy personality.
