Dairy-Free Frozen Yogurt | Los Angeles, CA

Hello, my friends! If you are anything like me, you keep an eye out for the National food days because any excuse to have a cheat meal or dessert is a good one in my book.

So if you didn’t know, I have a huge sweet tooth, and dessert is my favorite food group. 😄 And on February 6th every year, we as a nation celebrate National Frozen Yogurt Day.

If you’ve been keeping up with me for a while, you might know that I try to stay Dairy-Free as much as I can because dairy, as delicious as it is, disrupts my stomach and my acne-prone skin.

To celebrate National Frozen Yogurt Day this year, I searched for the best Vegan/Dairy Free Frozen Yogurt place in Los Angeles.

I didn’t go all around Los Angeles I stayed in the Valley and found two places in Glendale. 

Glendale has my favorite vegan/dairy-free frozen yogurt place ever! It’s called Yoga-Urt.

Yoga-Urt

Yoga-urt has all the winning components for me. It’s ORGANIC · VEGAN · GLUTEN-FREE · SOY-FREE and KOSHER. On top of that, the frozen yogurt is creamy and delicious. They rotate their flavors, so you’re always discovering something new.

Yoga-Urt is also a small female-owned business with two locations: Glendale and Echo Park.

Pressed Juicery

In Los Angeles, we are all pretty familiar with cold-press juices from Pressed Juicery. What I didn’t know is that they also have what they call Freeze. They describe it as soft-serve, but it might as well be frozen yogurt.

The Freeze is plat-based and dairy-free and 100% made with real fruit, nuts, and veggies.

The great thing about this place is the Location! Pressed Juicery is located at The Americana an outdoor mall in Glendale with shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Perfect for an afternoon stroll.

Not a full list disclaimer

This is not a full list of Dairy-Free Frozen Yogurt options in Los Angeles. But I will say that I was surprised by the lack of vegan frozen yogurt in Los Angeles.

Of course, big brands like Yogurtland & Pinkberry now offer at least one dairy-free option of frozen yogurt. But it’s not the same when a brand focuses solely on vegan options and can offer some variety.
