Mini Boston City Guide & Vlog
Hello, TEA Birds!
So if you follow me on social media you know that I recently took a trip to Boston, MA which is my hometown. I was there for 4th of July week. I was really excited to spend time with my family. Explore Boston as a tourist and share it with you guys in a Vlog. I also included a Boston mini city guide for those of you who’ve never been. Here are a few things you can do and see.
Also if you read my last blog post “I’m Engaged!” (I’m still on cloud nine over that one btw…) you know I now have a Fiancè yay! Well, the proposal happened literally 4 days before I left for Boston. So basically it was hard leaving Drew behind but alas I am back in his arms and it is all good. haha
Boston is a beautiful city with lots to do and plenty to see. Especially if you’re a history buff Boston is the perfect city to visit because it’s covered in American history. You can catch the Youtube Vlog above and read the city guide below.
Boston Mini City Guide
Here is a little mini-guide of things you should do or see if traveling to Boston.
First, Ice Cream!
- J.P. Licks
- As far as I can remember J.P. Licks has always been the place for Ice Cream in Boston. This place opened its doors in 1981 and it’s still a neighborhood favorite.
- Boston Burger Company
- This place has the most delicious and creative Freak Frappes you’ll ever see. (Catch them on my Vlog below)
- Hi Bear
- The first ice cream roll bar in Boston. This is the first time I had Ice cream roll and it won’t be my last. This place is small though, so if it’s packed you might have to wait for a little while since they make your ice cream roll right in front of you and they only have 2 stations. They don’t really have any tables and chairs to sit down and enjoy your treat. So you might just have to grab and go.
Sight Seeing!
- Boston Public Library
- As one of the biggest and oldest libraries in the nation, Boston Central Library is a sight to see. With its beautiful architecture, works of art within its wall, and breathtaking courtyard you might just have to take one of their tours.
- Boston Common
- No matter what time of year you visit this beautiful city there is always something to do at “The Common”. During the summer you can go for a long walk, take a ride on the Swan Boats or go Ice Skating during the winter months.
- Fenway Park
- Boston is a huge sports town and there is nothing like watching a game at Fenway Park.
Where to Shop!
- Newbury Street
- Is a mile long street filled with hundreds of shops and restaurants that range from “high-end boutiques” on one side of the spectrum to “slightly less expensive” shops on the other. Also, the street provides plenty of Instagram worthy backdrops with historic 19th-century brownstones.
- Prudential Center
- Is a mecca for shopping and dining, but quite possibly the best part is the Skywalk Observatory where you can get a spectacular 360-degree view of the Greater Boston Area.
NightLife
- Highball Lounge
- I visited this place for the first on this trip and I loved it! Especially the Duckie Rosè. It’s literally just a rubber duckie inside your drink but I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Check it on the Vlog below …lol
- Mojitos or Vincent’s Nightclub
- If you are looking for more of the Latin Club scene.
- Faneuil Hall
- If you are more into the bar hopping scene this place is perfect.
Hope you guys enjoy this Boston Mini City Guide. If you guys have any questions please comment below watch the Vlog and let me know what you think.
Much Hugs,
